We’re all connected!

Though we each are on our own path, we’re all connected in a profound way

Growing up in Hawaii, I’ve always had a deep love and respect for animals and nature. I found sanctuary in listening to the wind weaving through the trees in an open garden, and floating calmly below the ocean’s surface surrendering to the ebb and flow of the tide, feeling like a natural part of it all.

In every experience, the common thread is that we are all connected—humans, animals, plants, nature, and the expansive universe. This connection is the foundation that shapes my actions, choices, and purpose.

Caring for our planet and her creatures is caring for ourselves

In my own life, I strive to walk gently on Earth and live in balance with nature. As a young girl, I grew strawberry and carnation plants, and spent a summer learning about seaweed varieties. While surfing, I removed trash from the ocean, stashing it in my wetsuit to carefully discard later. Today, I frequently offer reiki to plants, witnessing measurable electrical activity—a reminder that energy resonates in us all. While small gestures, these hands-on experiences nurture a sense of responsibility and awe for the natural world.

This same reverence extends to my connection with animals. Without hesitation, my family and I rescued a litter of puppies, one with a broken leg. As we nurtured them to health, I felt them nurturing us as well. Upon returning from a dive session in deep water, my husband and I created an opening to ensure a whale and her calf had safe passage when surrounded by curious tourists snorkeling much too close. The mama whale looked directly at us, and in her wise gaze, she taught me that animals feel our empathy and trust.

Animals have always held a special place in my heart

I cherish every meaningful connection, both large and small, I’ve had with animals throughout my life. A Great Pyrenees at my office always sensed when I was there, standing in the aisle patiently watching for me, knowing we shared an unspoken bond. A friend's dog once held her paw on my leg, gazing into my eyes and asking for healing energy to comfort an injury.

Most profoundly, my heart dog Rolie in spirit continues to visit and connect with me in tangible ways. Sharing his deep wisdom and unconditional love, he inspired me to nurture my heart and have more self compassion, and guided me to the work I do today.

As an animal communicator, intuitive coach, and energy healer, it is my honor to help others embrace more self compassion by tuning into this natural wisdom and loving energy that connects us all.
